The Host/Hostess welcomes and warmly greets restaurant guests on arrival. He/she escorts guests to their tables, offers them menus, and informs them of their server’s name. Additionally, the Host/Hostess coordinates the overall operations of the dining room, and does all that he/she can to ensure all guests have an outstanding dining experience. The host/hostess also assists with cashier responsibilities, as needed. This is a key license position. The Host/Hostess reports to the Food and Beverage Manager or the Food and Beverage Supervisor.
